Hi, my book on creativity--Creative Synergy--will be coming out in October, according to the Amazon information.  The publication date will be 2015.

Last night I dreamed about going to Waltrip High School, and it was full of kids.  "Oh," they said, "you must be here for the reunion."

There was a huge mud slide at the front of the school in my dream.  I'm not sure what this means!

Grandson James Theodore Walling, age 12 (and growing like a weed), with his best Redfish yet, caught May 24, 2014.

Teddie Jordan

Grandson William Laughlin Davidson, age 13 (and already almost six feet tall), with his best yet Redfish, caught June 7, 2014.

Sorry for the obvious bragging, but Fran and I are very proud of these two guys, as we are of all four of our unique little ones.

Needless to say our family is eating a healthy amount of fish this summer.

Well it looks as if the Jordan fishing genes have been successfully passed to the newer generation. remember you need to eat at LEAST 3 meals a week consisting of fish. Omega 3 pills don't really count. it looks as if they take after Fran. CUTE KIDS.

Beau Wann, Jr.

3 times a week????  I HATE FISH...3 things I hate about fitsch...I HATE THE SMELL AND THE SMELL AND THE SMELL...If only the LC Cafeteria would open back up, I'd eat their Cod fitsch...cant cook fish or even bring a to go box  with fish INTO THE HOUSE...the smell makes me sick, then I cant eat anything...

So I guess Beau doesn't want to come to our next fish fry

Grumpy old man. Omega-3 will help that.

Had a wonderful turnout last night at Fuddrucker's will post pictures soon! Lots of laughs and great gathering!

Also, if you haven't notice already, I have new tabs - Black Jr. High, Waltrip Year Book - Seniors (there's also additional tabs with year book pics - Basketball, Baseball/Other Sport, Football and Imperial Guard) and Memorabilia 1960's & earlier.  Originally most of these were all under one tab and now it's much faster to view instead of tons of scrolling.

Hugs,heart

J

Jackie Crowe (Finch)

Susan, it's my joy and pleasure.  I forgot to put if anyone has pictures they would like to contribute to any of these tabs, please send them my way via mail or email.

Hope soon you can join us at Fudd's --- considering the drive you have to make, that's dedication to come see us!!

Hugs,

J

Beau Wann, Jr.

Even though I dont like fish, your two grandsons holding their prized catches, are beautiful and priceless...what smiles...thanks for sharing those pictures with us...also, I will come to your next fish fry...I will wear clothes pins on my knose....

I dont have a picture of me holding a fish, but I think there is one of me with a hotdog...the first fish I caught was an ugly sheepshead...caught a flounder the same trip at the mouth of the Matagorda river and the gulf/bay...just had a hook, line and sinker...dont even know what bait we were using...I was probably about 8 years old...

That was the time a water moccasin started climbing up my grandfathers line...my dad and his three brothers drew their pistols at about the same time, and proceeded to teach that ol snake some manners....I dont think they hit him, or that was one tough snake, cause he was still on the line during the gunfire, so my grandfather whupped out his barlow knife and just cut the line and zip, snakezilla was gone...dad and uncles still blazing away at the snake in the water, till it disappeared...sounded like whirld war III...meanwhiile, all four of them were laughing so hard, almost tipped the boats over...the wild bunch strikes again! ! !

And that my fine waltripines, was my introduction to fishing 101...I'm surprised they didnt just chunk some dynamite over the side and really catch some fish...they told me thats how they use to fish back in the "good ol days"...that and a magneto from an old crank phone...Even as gruff and cranky as they could be,  I sure do miss the "wild bunch"...

My idea of fishing, if I liked to eat fish, would be to go to K rogers and tip toe through the meat market so as not to wake the calimari/erasers...I do like hot dogs though...those are really good for you too...and they make you happy...well, they make me happy...

Here's an update on the house on the hill...probably be through with it nextr year...it was suppose to have been ready mid may,  we were hoping for mothers day, but that didnt happen,  and then maybe by the time school was out, and that didnt happen either,  then we were thinking, hmmm, maybe for our 30th anniversary,  and my birthday, and fathers day next week...fourth of july???? anyone anyone??? We'll be lucky to get in it by august...oh well, I guess some day eh what! ! !  And to think, I was hoping we could have moved in by last thanksgiving...what is wrong with my brain???

Just watched "THE TEXAS TENORS"...didnt know they even existed...all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!
Those ol boys could sing the phone book and bring tears to your eyes...they're that good! ! !

The onliest (east texas for only) thing, is, they are so pretty! ! ! I know, you dont usually apply the term "pretty" to discribe guys, but these ol boys are just gorgeous, for guys...it's really unfair! ! ! Guys being able to sing so beautiful, and look beautiful also too...I think that if you are that talented, then you should have to look like....me, Quasimodo! !! Of course, I look like that AND cant sing like they can... Oh well, there's other things I can do well...cant think of any right now, but let me sleep on it, and I'll come up with something!

Fudds was fun, as usual...and here's good news, no, really great news...Jackie told me that her tumors have shrunk considerably...YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....she told me the technical term for it, but my little pea brain and short term memory collided and forgot what it was...but she is getting better and better, and that's alll that mattters! ! !

Been having really bad days in the pain department...alm ost didnt go to fudds, but I'm glad we did...my beloved wont let me not go tofudds, and she is right, once I am there, the fellowship is a soothing salve...I still hurt, but with friends like the class of 63-72, the pain is tolerable...

Got the lab results back, and all my numbers, whatever in the heck they are, are normal...Other than polymyalgia rhumatica, and arthritis, bursitis and tendonitis, they still havent found another cause for the intense pain I have been experiencing...I think it's mostly generated by my lower back down to my legs and feet...feels like I am standing on the pointed end of hot railroad spikes...my legs feel like they are on fire from the inside, and cold at the same time...and the bottoms of my feet are numb, even with the pain...

Then there is the three crushed vertebrae in my neck, and both rotator cuffs in my shoulders cause my upper body to hurt...my nose feels ok though, you just have to look for the good among the bad I suppose.

I think the reason I hurt so bad, is my faith isnt as strong as it should be...gonna work on that...

Well, time to mosey on, get along little doughggie, etc...

Sure is great seeing everyone at fudds...it was just last night, and I'm already looking forward to next fudds meeting...

Happy trails...your frien and brother-in-classmate...Olbeauwannkanobie

Hey BroBeau,

You did a good job reporting my great news under the circumstances of you being in so much pain Tuesday night!!!  Yes, my tumor markers have come down from 132.9 (since 11/27/12) to 31.0 (now - 5/23/14) so definately something to celebrate!

Cannot wait to sit on your porch in Chappell Hill - I know you cannot either!!!

I've posted Fudd pictures and so sorry I missed Diane!!  Don't know how that happened, I'll make it up next month - July 8.

Hugs,heart

Beau Wann, Jr.

Well, it's me again Margaret! ! !  Just thought I'd say howdy! Today was Diane and my 30th anniversary...we're still in the trial stages!  I'm really thinking this is just not gonna work out!  Good thing we caught it now rather than further on down the line a few hundred years, eh what!

Nah, I guess we'll stay together for the sake of the children ! ! !  We celibrated somewhat today! Got up at my usual time, the crack of 2:30 AM...Cleaned out my sock drawer, fed the cats 4 times...they love it when I cant sleep!  Fixed breakfast for us, of course I allus do that every day...but, I guess you could call this an anniversary breakfast special...Got Dianes lunch made, and got her out the door to work! ! ! Tried my dangdest to go back to sleep, and that lasted all of 10 minutes.

The pain today was in a particularly nasty state. Didnt feel like celibrating much of anything.  Didnt need my cane at all yesterday, but today, I could have used a wheelchair...dang that stuff is mean...Took fric and frac for their daily walks, separately of course! Mowed the yard in the rain and ran some errands!    We celebrated when Diane got home...Diane fixed two frozen TV dinners, and we fell asleep, Diane on the couch with Cooper, and me in the chair with one of the cats...Yup, a couple of fireballs we are, swingers, movers and shakers...Dont know how we can keep this pace up much longer!

And tomorrow is my 69th birthday...that sure doesnt look right on paper does it! Sounds different spoken!  Starting tomorrow I'll be in my 70th year...wow, who woulda thunk it! I think I will buy a really good cigar and have some wild turkey honey...yeah, thats the ticket!  Maybe I'll go buy a tractor or something!

I still have some of the fruitcakes that yall sent to me a few years back! Maybe I'll break one of those bad boys out amidst the hijinks and tom foolery and really celibrate! Wow, the frivolity and jocularity is never ending at the Olbeauwannkanobie house!

Ok, time to hit the hay! Maybe I'll get some sleep tonight...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Jan Barnes '65 (Nimtz)

Happy belated anniversary Beau & Diana!  Happy Birthday Beau!  I would think those Chappell Hill builders would have gotten on a stick to have your home ready for your anniversary, or at least for your birthday. smiley

Maybe they're waiting for your 31st or 70th. angry Hope you have a beautiful, pain free (or almost pain free)birthday today. yes

Hang in there.  I know you will feel better once you get in that new house in the country

and can just sit on the porch with your favorite beverage, animals at you feet, and watch the bluebonnets grow.

06/17/14 10:58 AM #6445

Beau Wann, Jr.

Hey there my fine waltripines...thank you all  for all the anniversary and birthday wishes and well wishes...it's amazing when I think of all my good friens, sort of forget some of the pain...Todays not too bad, in fact not bad atall...Thanks Jan and Jimmie Lee et al...

Had 3 catscans this morning...no really, 3 of em...First there was Peaches standing on my chest and cooing in my ear, waiting for breakfast...then she got off and Lacy got on and was kneading her claws in my chest and chirping in my ear...till I owned cats, never new they made so many different sounds...Lacy snores too, and loudly....when I still didnt get up, they sent in the big gun, ANNIE-BOB the Pixie Bob...she made no bones about the fact they wanted breakfast, she just bit my arm..."GET THE HELL UP YOUSE IDJIT, WE'RE HUNGRY"...and all this on my birthday! Of course they pretty much do this every day if I'm not up before the sun! ! !

Well, that did it, got up and fed the little blaggerts...oceanwhitefish and tuna...my nose does not like fish smell at anytime, let aalone at 5 AM...I have an eyedropper and bottle of vanilla that I put a drop on my fingers and rub it in my mustache and nose...that generally does the trick! Plus when I get a kiss from my beloved, it makes her smile...not my kiss, the vanilla! ! ! Gotta find someway to make her smile! ! !

So far, it's been a rather uneventful day, unless you count the 3 catscans...Diane fixed breakfast for a change...I normally take full responsibility for breakfast, but she insisted, it being my birthday and all...we had luke warm sweet mush...dont tell her, but I've had better...  She put too much sweetner in it, just about went into a diabetic coma...well actually the sweetner we use is BLUE AGAVE JUICE ! ! ! It is suppose to be good for diabetics and hypoglacemic folks as it goes into your system slowly, or at least thats what it says!

I know they make TEQUILA  from the blue agave plant, but didnt know they made a sweetner from it. If I were to get stopped by the gestapo, and have to take a breathalizer test, would it register as an alcoholic beverage?  "Honest osifer I just had OATMEAL with blue agave juice in it, not tequila.." I can only imagine what they would be thinking!!! and off to the pokey I'd go, as innocent as a new born lamb, pure as the wind driven snow! ! !

Think I'll do nothing today...already have done 4 hours of nothing...made coffee, feed the critters, make diane a lunch, clean litter boxes, twice, made the bed, cleaned the windows of Dianes exploder, tried to put the strap on my new pair of binoculars Billy Joe, our eldest, gave me for Fathers day and birthday...and failed at putting the strap on...got a load of wash going, and soon it will be a load of drying!

Oh, and charging my phone, and answering emails and typing on the forum, of course charging my phone isnt really too much of a chore! It's more of a hunting trip...I have to hunt for my glasses so that I can see to hunt for my phone, so I can hunt for the charger...Oh, have to put on me bionic ears so that I can hear my phone ring when I have to call it because I dont have eyes on it...OH bother as Pooh would say...still blessed beyond belief...

What tha?  Oh, it's me blonde dog Cooper, licking my toes...It's his way of stimulating my feet so I'll get up and take him for a walk...ok Coop, I'm getting there...just give me a couple O mins! ! !

Time to disengage heah at the foharum,( southern for forum)...You know, I added someone to my email contacts and saw Burgess email address amongst em...I thought I should delete his address, but then my heart just wouldnt let me...so whats the harm in having it in my contacts...not a smidgen! ! !

    Your frien and resident nut...Olbeauwannkanobie

Post Script: Keep the sun at your six and ride boldly ride...

It's me again...Hey Jan, I LOVE YOUR SWEAT SHIRT/TSHIRT...I had hoped to go to Ireland and Scotland someday...dont think that's gonna happen...but, when youse guys make it to the "hill", bring along your slides...I dont mind sharing a trip through someone else's eyes/camera...

Happy BD, Beau.  My own 68th was this past Sunday.  May the pain go away.  I've been blessed, but my own small pains remind me how lucky I have been.  Hope you get to move into your new abode soon.  I just know you will enjoy getting out of the old neighborhood and into the new ..... Always enjoy reading your postings.  Maybe because I'm a fellow Gemini I understand most everything you post.  May God bless you and yours .....
