Beau Wann, Jr.

Hello myne fyne Waltripyne Fuddrucker Friens...Sorry I was absent, sent my emissary, Diane, in mah place! ! ! She's much prettier and nicer than I am anyway. I have to feed Roberts and Sharons Bulls and Horses every eenin, at their place on 290, then go over to their place on OCH rd and check on the rest of their herd! ! ! So with the heat and all, I was not real receptive to traveling. Last time I was at fudds, I fell asleep at the table! Cant have that now can we.

It was 108 here yesterday...when the clouds and storm, no rain, blew in, it dropped to 84 degrees in just about 30 minuets or less!  It huffed and puffed and got dark, but produced about 4 drops O the wet stuff.  I was sorta hopin for a few more drops than that, but I guess 4 was all that was on the manifest.....My son Kevin said it really rained and hailed in Katy.  Hail you say ????? YUP ! ! ! Hail ????? Wale, hail yes ! ! !

I have a gazillion and one thangs to do here, but I just dont want to do them ! I've always been one of those folks that get's up before the chickens, and has already done a days work all before 9 oclock....Now,  It's getting harder and harder to get out of bed in the mornings.  Both Physically and mentally ! ! !    The Physical restraints, I'm sorta use to, but the mental is something gnu. You really have to nip that sort of mental  stuff in the bud, cause it gets to begatin, you implode, and then you wind up a bum...homeless...wino...cant have that now can we....Dont think Diane would like having a homeless wino bum livin here! ! !  I know I wouldnt...

Diane has just 13 work days to go and 19 total days to go before she retires...I'm excited ! ! ! For her ! ! !

You know, I think I'll just declare myself on vacation for the next couple O weeks....lots O folks go on vacation...I very rarely do though...Pat, I'd love to go to Italy up in the mountainous region...the wino region...
for a vacation for a couple O decades...would like to have visited lots O places in Europe, and Great Britain...London, Ireland and Scotland...my ancestors on my moms side are from Scotland and England...my dad's side, "The dark side', "THE WILD BUNCH" is from Rumania...Transylvania to be perzact...probably kin to Vlad the impaler....

Ok, time to disengage and have a pickle...you know, that's what I had for breakfast this morning as I was fixing my beloveds lunch....I had a slice of ham, an olive, a kosher pickle spear, a bread and butter pickle slicer, a sliver of swiss cheese, bottle of ensure, coffee, orange juice, hmmm, lessee, was there anything else ????   Oh, I licked the mustard off the knife...yeah, that's the ticket, a real healthy and rounded breakfast ! ! !

Hey Susan, let us know how the surgery went on your husbands back ! We will, of course keep yall in our thoughts and prayers....

Keep the sun at your six and ride boldly ride...

Pat Brantley (Ross)

Beau, Transylvania is a beautiful place.  It is mountains, trees, and german villages.  Most of the people who settled there were German.  As pretty as Switzerland, but much cheaper.  i did most of my traveling with school teachers and students.  Fun and inexpensive.  Sorry you are in a funk.  Watch the Bob Newhart skit from In Living Color on YouTube.  It is one of our favorites.

08/13/15 08:14 PM #7284

Johnny Sheffield

Well folks, finally got a place for our fall fling.

The room will sit 50 people but it would be

hard for us to move around. So if the count

of the rsvps reaches over 40 I will reserve

a portion of the outside deck that holds up

to 50 more and will give us room to move around.

So, as soon as you can see that you can make it let

me or Jackie know.  I will also have a cash bar

set up outside the room for beer and wine so that you do not

have to go back thru the

line again for alcohol beverage. If we get a big enough crowd, I will

Try to have music provided by Goode company at no charge. The manager

was nice that the room and cash bar attendant

will be no charge.  So pass it along to all our waltrip class

and also those others that we went school with.

Lets all have a good time. Hope to see you all there.

Johnny

Beau Wann, Jr.

OK, I'm there now....waitin on ya...I and the Missus will be at goodefudds....is there a non cash bar?
Mebbee where they take vulcan dollars?  Most O my money is in Jurasic funds...Hey, will they have pickles or pickle juice just in case of an emergency cramp?   Ah eat pickles everday, voila, no cramps ! ! ! Mebbee one of us should bring an emergency jar of pickles...you know, in casee of emergency, break glass...or unscrew top...

OH HEY Johnny, DUDE ! ! ! !    When you go to goodefudds, make sure, NO SNAKES ARE FOLLOWING YOU ! ! ! !

Hey Pat, you sure got to visit a lot of places in europe...maybe someday, you will come by and give us a slide show...we will provide the refreshments ! ! !

It got to 109 yesterday or the day before...what is it with this stinkin weather ?????  I cant get anything done outside because it's either stormin, or fryin...no in between, just extremes...I'm a black and white guy, no grey area allowed...but I believe  I can makie an exception with the weather...how about, just a little shower, and then maybe 72 gedees....yeah, that's the ticket....

Yo dude, gotta go....

Beau Wann, Jr.

Hey all yall...The little RETIRED woman and I will be at Gooderuckers, unless we're on another planet...like say orthopediac, hopefully we will be on amubulatorium in route to Gooderuckers....

Henny ! ! ! How exciting for you and Roric gettin to start anew...I am jelloeese ! ! ! Yes, we still have some of those fruitcakes left from the "fruitcake caper" sometime back in the last decade...We brought some to the 45th reonion...for dessert...no one was hungry for it though, guess they were full on supper...but not to worry, we saved it and others in the freezer for next time...maybe Gooderuckers....and a jar of pickles...yeah, that's the ticket...

Oh, I remember we took some to fuddgoodes, and folks actually ate it...and liked it ! ! ! I guess some folks will eat anything on a double dog dare ! ! !

It's early this morning...the magnitude of that exclamation is magnitudenal wouldnt you say ! ! ! Or just plain silly...I'lll go with profound...

Me and Jack got up at 4  this morn, brewed some coffee in the space age zurig coffee maker...sat outside and sawr a gazillion stars, and the three amigos (three bucks) down about the middle of sam wann hill ! !

Oh, and guess what??? No, really guess ! ! !  Nope, didnt have a pickle and liverwurst sandridge this morn, although that soundds kinda good....nope, no fruitcake eyether...me and Jack sawr a shootin star...I havent seen one of those ssince the last time I sawr wone. prolly since I was a wee lad chilren...Me and Jack made a wish on it...silly, sure, but one can't be too careful with one of the old husband tales now can one! ! !

Ok, guess what I have on the tops O me thighs ! ! !  OH, get your mind outten the gutter...you 64ers, I know about YOU PEOPLE... I have HEAT! ! !  Well of course I have heat, it's 900 degrees out here...no, I have the old HEAT RASH that I use to get as a young wee lad chilren...looks like red wwelts...

I methinks that it only happens when I'm on the tractor...which I was from sunup to noon yesterday....my fixin to be retired beloved loves to spray aloe vera on it to watch me jump...she's a dang nut...I was looking for my Gold Bond powder but couldnt find it...I know we have or had some, I remember packing and unpacking and packing and unpacking it ! ! !  If I go buy some, in  will walk the lost can saying, "yo dude, you looking for me?"

It was 101 before 10 oclock yesterday...whew! ! !

You know, somedays I feel so euphoric, and then somedays I feel so bad, mentaally speaking so to speak...I do feel so much better when I am productive...that's the whole key for us manic depressives, STAY BUSY...

Why do I put such personal things on the forum?  Just makes me feel better being able to talk to understanding folks like all yall...

You know what else makes me feel goode???   Seeing everyone  get on the forum ! ! !   Oh, hold on, the boys are a wantin breakfast...It's saturday, and you know what that means,  yup,   BACON AND EGGS...well, why not...                                            TJ??? TJ, come to the front, TJ....Jimmie???   Jimmie Stockton, come to the front, Jimmie ! ! !

Ok, I'm baaaaaack ! ! !  For all youse youtes that miss it, the sky is getting pink, and you know what that means...yup, the sky is gettin pink ! ! !  Sunrise cant be far behind although it's gettin later and later everyday...funny how that happens...The sun sleeps in in the winter, when it needs to get up earlier, and it gets up too early in the summer when it needs to sleep in ! ! ! Ah just dont unnerstand what I dont unnerstand..... unnerstand?  If so, please splain it to me....nah, I prefer being left in the dark...plausible deniability ! ! !

How many of yall still have blenders out there?  Anyone, anyone??  We do, and it's the one my beloved had before we were behitched...she brought it to me last night and asked was green stuff suppose to be oozing out of the plug ! ! !   Not just no, but hell no! ! ! Cant imagine what the heck it could be, it looks like the permanent ink, Peacock, color !

memeber that stuff?  Oh man, that was permanent, like forever, cant get rid of it even with ajax, stuff...still got some on me hands from 4th grade...You know, the tree huggers always complain about stuff that wont decompose, like foam cups, but no one talks about "peacock" color permanent ink...you cant get rid of that with anything short of a nuclear holocaust! ! !

They say that foam cups wont bio degrade, and are bad for the ecology....Anyone want to tell me where "foam" cups come from ????   Not mars, or venus, but rat cheer on oith...so if it came from here, then chances are it belongs here....and you know what else?   Well, even if you dont want to know, It's mah boundin duty to tell you...they sell the foam in the form of small particles, to do what?  Yup put in your garden and potting soil, as "pearlite" or "pearlight"....  Not Pearl lite beer, but pearlite to help airate your soil....

Ok, I was talkin about my/our blender, how peacock ink was oozing out of the plug ! ! !  "Dont plug it in" says I...we have other mixers and mashers ! ! !  "uh sweetie, what do you need a blender for" says I ! ! ! "oh, I'm going to make frozen watermelon balls, or cups" she says ! ! !  I replied, "I was going to make mah famous watermelon wine" ! ! ! "Yeah I know" she said..."so I thought I'd use it so we wouldnt have a repeat of last years debacle"....Oh, wounds me to my heart ! ! !

The ringing and buzzing stops after about a week, and it only took the dawgs a couple of days to get back on their feet...so whats the harm?  You know, there's worse out there...like frozen watermelon balls left in the freezer from 1958...my mom put some in the freezer back then, and they are still there, along with the first two and only two fish I have ever caught...that wasnt from Krogers....yup, caught an ugly Sheeps Head and a Flounder...been froze for posterity for 57 years...had to transfer em to our freezer! ! !

Ok, guess I've been on long enough ah suppose...35 consecutive days of 95 gredees or higher and 13 days of 100 gredee temp....they say we had 36 days of 100 degree weather in 2011...dont remember that, but I guess we did...It just seems 100 degrees is so much hotter nowadays than it was back then...

Keep the sun at your six, or in the freezer, and ride boldly ride...

Your frien and brother in classmate...Jefferson Robert E. Lee Davis Wanninski, esq

Looking forward to seeing you and Roric again...

Hello Beau...Everyone...

Still in Houston...had to cancel my trip  --- for a few days, not a good night

last night.  Hope Wednesday  works...all home matters moved

to this Thursday/Friday, do NOT want to lose our home selections

Hope all well for you, all.  How is your back?

Thank you for your address.

<3...henny

Beau Wann, Jr.

Hey Henny, sorry you had a bad time and had to cancel your plans....maybe all will go well next go round...
my back seems to have gotten better...for now...but that's the way it works...feels ok for a spell, then all heck breaks loose and feels like it's broken again....Just had a round of xrays and stuff, and ekg and all kinds of stuff, seems I'm operatin on all cylinders...not quite 350 horse power V-8, but 210 HP V-6...I'll take that anyday...especially at my advanced years of...29....give or take...

I looked for that pickle juice drink at the heb, but never could find it...not surprising, their store is just a jumbled mess...I did see other vile looking green drinks on the shelves...I sampled some of the pickle juice on the condiment aisle...just to find the best pickles and juice.....you'd a thought I was Ghengis Kahn the way folks were giving me the evil eye....did get some tonic water...Hey lynn, can the tonic water be stored in the fridge???

supposed to be a cooler day yesterday and today...RIGHT ! ! !        104 yesterday and almost 100 today...yup, a veritable blizzard out there....

Prayers for Linda Webster - she posted on the '65 website yesterday (8/17).  Her tests are today.

I am asking for some positive thoughts, and strong prayers from all my former classmates tomorrow. I am having two tests to try and find my originating malignant tumor. I want it to be found and removed.

Thanks to all.
