Ronna, thank you for posting and to Bill Trail too. This forum is made better each time someone new starts participating. And the collective support we all get and need in times of struggle is indeed a blessing. Also Ronna it was truly a pleasure when Fran and I ran into you and Linda Bolton in the lobby out at the medical center last week, and got to visit and catch up a little. We look forward to catching up some more with all of you in October!

More detailed obituary for Hayden - he was a Blessing to all.

Hayden Scott Paske

October 24, 2000 – September 13, 2014

There will be a Service in Celebration of the life of Hayden Scott Paske, 13, of Katy, Texas, which will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Parkway Fellowship Church at 27043 FM 1093, Richmond, Texas 77406.

Hayden Scott Paske was born October 24, 2000 to Paul and Sheree Paske.  Within an instant he was the joy of their life.  Throughout his time on earth he lived his life to the fullest from his adventurous spirit and passion for the outdoors, to his caring nature.   He had an overall charismatic personality that touched the lives of countless others.

Hayden’s life would seem too short to many but those who were touched by him understand that the quality of his existence far exceeds the time in which he lived.  We ask that his life be celebrated.  Although we will miss him every day, especially his beautiful-enlightening smile, he will remain in our hearts forever.

Hayden is survived by his parents, Paul and Sheree Paske; his sister, Amber Paske; his grandparents, Brenda Walker, Paul and Jenny Paske,  and C.A. and Kathleen Boulte ; great grandparents, Wally and Amanda Walker and Rose Palash; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and many friends.

Cochran Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Please sign our online guestbook at http://www.cochranfh.com/.

Jenny, we are so sorry to hear of your losses.  We have four little grandaughters, and we can not imagine the grief you and your family are having to bear.  It appears that you have a wondrful support system, and I know how important that is now, and through your time of healing.  We will be thinking of your family in this time of need and keep you all in our prayers.

With greatest sympathy,

Gail (Andrews) Eddings and Robert Eddings

Dear Jenny,

I usually just read the forum, but your comment about Hayden's loving cammo touched my heart as we have a grandson, Jake, who will be 6 on Wednesday, who also loves cammo. He is a real boy's boy just like Hayden. I am praying for you and your husband and your son and his family. Only the Lord gives peace and comfort in these things of such deep grief.

Jenny, my heart breaks for you and your family. Hayden clearly had the same kind of  winsome and charismatic personality his grandmother has. I want you to know that I am praying for all of you as you grieve the loss and celebrate the life of this sweet boy. I am so sorry.

I'm not sure, but I'm going to say that she embraces the saying "Dance like nobody is watching! ".

Also might have had a sip or two of Chardonnay.

It's Julia Louis-Dreyfus from Seinfeld - remember what an absolutely horrible dancer she was - when she started dancing, everyone just stopped and laughed.  One of the many reasons I do not dance except for slow dances - don't need the laughter. But can't wait to see everyone else dancing and having a great time - not much longer.

Got an email from Jackie today...Barbara porter raines, was showing a house on Holcombe blvd, and fell over a lawnmower, hit the concrete, and broke her knee ! ! !  She drove herself to the ER and they transferred her to Methodist for surgery. Not sure just when the surgery will take place, but there it is!   Sooooo, I guess Barbara will be doing only slow dances at the reonion, and not the Elaine Bennis "kick"...

I actually thought Elaine was a great dancer....

Jackie Crowe (Finch)

Beau, OUCH!!  You've been through many collisions and sorry no one comforted you!  That's a bummer.

Thanks for telling everyone about Barbara.  She did crack her left knee and will have surgery on Thursday.  The surgery was delayed because she's on blood thinner and they have to adjust.

Of course she is confined to bed and is taking morphine for the pain.  I talked to her this morning and besides the knee, she is really really really sore all over her body -- arms, shoulder, ribs and head.   It was a tremendous blow on the concrete and she said at first she hit so hard on her chest she was afraid she had broken some ribs, but that seems to be okay.    It was the impact on the knees that got her. She is in Methodist - Dunn Tower.

She's planning on being at reunion and I guarantee one way or another I'll get her there! Naturally dancing is not in the picture, but at least she can enjoy being with everyone.

Please keep her in your prayers.

Hugs, J

Hey Lynn, will they let me drive my bike into the ballroom?  I was thinking about putting a side car on it, and voila, a fancy schmancy motorized wheelchair...sorta!  My "HOVERROUND" ! ! !

I havent fallen...yet, but I have bumped and banged into just about everthing there is!  Dropped all kinds of stuff on my person from varying degrees of angle and distance.  Just this weekend, I was using a pair of number 9 klein pliers, and tugging on a piece of wire, and the wire gave up, and I hit myself smack dab rat between the eyes.  It woulda killed a lesser man!

So I guess since I'm not falling down, everything else around is making up for it, and falling down on me!  But, that's ok!

Cooper and I went to moms alzheimers care unit. She not only doesnt know who I am, but now, she's not sure about Cooper. In fact, a lot of the folks that have greeted Cooper in the past, are not sure about him now! So sad!  Really depresses me!

     Well, BARBARA ! ! ! GET WELL SOONER...WE ARE ALL GONNA SEND YOU GOOD HEALING VIBRATIONS....HEAL! ! ! !

Beau what an awesome, however, they may frown on the bike in the halls.  We have a small battery operated scooter that we can decorate for Barbara to use.  One way or the other we will get her to the ball!!!
