LAURA LEIGH LAUDER found peace last Monday, September 28th, 2009. She was a natural caregiver whose selfless devotion touched and enhanced the lives of a great many. She was born in Lubbock Texas while her parents were visiting relatives. Otherwise she would have been born in her native city of Houston Texas. She graduated class of 1964 from Waltrip High School. She is survived by her four children; Dawanda Clark, Shane Lauder, Matthew Lauder, and Rachel Brumfield; Grandchildren; Gregory, Jessica, Garrett, Blake, Dillan, Shadow, Seth, Kevin, Torin, and Greta Leigh; Oldest brother Printice Herbie Webb II. When she was not doting on her many precious grandchildren, as well as her own children, she was helping the sick and elderly of family and friends. She provided special lifelong care for her now departed Aunt Francis Case, and her youngest brother Micheal Webb. May she always be remembered for her philanthropy, charity and selfless support of any loved one in need. Viewing will be from 2-6pm, Sunday, October 4th at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Services and internment will be Monday October 5th at the same location at 2pm.1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, TX 77055. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your preferred cancer or fibromialgia disease research in her honor.

Jackie,
Robert and I (Sharon Allen) went to the funeral. It seems Laura Leigh had two heartattacks or strokes in a row and they did a by-pass surgery. Then they had to do another procedure where she died in surgery.

At the funeral she was taken away by a horse drawn hearse. I took a picture and hope to have it on the web soon.
