Robert and I went to school together forever. We started at Garden Oaks Elementary and his mother was a teacher at our school. She was a very hard teacher, and thank The Lord, I got put into the other class in 6th grade.Sharon Walker
I knew Robert from Garden Oaks. He lived on 41st and I lived on 42nd and we actually walked to school together sometime.Later, in Waltrip, my first date was with Robert. We went to a football game and afterward to Rumple.... ( the ice cream shop in Westbury). He gave me my first kiss. We did not go out again...I don't know which of us was more nervous and shy back then. But because our names were close in the alphabet, we were always in home room together. I remember him as kind, quiet, and bright.
I will remember........
