Marilyn Radabaugh (Elkins)

It is a sad way to start the new year but also a blessing that Marilyn is now able to rekindle the vibrancy that she has exuded her entire life with us.

Her beautiful daughter Lisa was able to spend the last week with her, taking care of her in the same loving way that Marilyn took care of her since birth.  Both Lisa and her loving father, Bobby, were able to convey their love and told Marilyn it was okay to return home.  As you may know, Marilyn may have been a bit resistant at times when you told her something, this time she knew the message was conveyed in total love and she was ready.

Marilyn slipped from this earthly world to one much more beautiful and peaceful.

You don’t need glitter in Heaven when you have Marilyn.

Details will follow on the Memorial and Celebration of Marilyn’s life we are planning.  For now please mark your calendars with Saturday, January 23rd as the tentative date.

Special thanks to all who wrote, called, visited  and prayed for Marilyn over the past few weeks.  She knew you cared but the out pouring of love made her feel truly blessed.  And she is.

Barbara Porter Raines and I went to Marilyn's memorial services on Saturday, January 23 at the Nature Center on Woodway. What a beautiful celebration of her life - slideshow - notebook written by Marilyn and all the loving stories from Bob (her brother), Rae (his wife), Lisa (her daughter) and Bob (her husband). There were many tears and laughter. I know Marilyn is beaming - her brother, Bob, and family gave her a beautiful farewell. She was a sweetheart ----

Email from Marilyn's brother, Bob - 6/9/2014.  Such beautiful love for his sister.

Today would have been Marilyn’s 68th birthday.  I remember her each and every day.  The attached picture is of the memorial I have in my back yard where she is surrounded by beautiful “Yesterday-Today- & Tomorrow” flower blooms, and where she can keep an eye out for me in my garden.

Rest-In-Peace Dear Sister.

With Love,

Bob
