Per Jenny Williams – Obituary for Laura Anne (Pierce) Forrest.

 LAURA ANNE (Pierce) FORREST, 55, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2001. She died of cancer. Born on March 3, 1946 in Houston. Laura graduated from Waltrip High School and attended Sam Houston State University. She was employed at Horizon (Interurban) Pharmacy for many years. She will lovingly be remembered as a kind, artistic, hard working mother, daughter, sister and friend. She is survived by her parents Kempton and Thelma pierce; her sons, Mark and Troy; daughter Tiffany; brother Kemp Pierce and his children; and various aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is also survived by friend Pat Bray. The Forrest family is grateful for friends, the doctors and nurses at Oncology Consultants, and hospital staff for their care and support. A memorial service will be held at the Landrum Prayer Chapel at Memorial United Methodist Church, 12955 Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77079, on Friday, December 7 at 2:30pm. Services will be given by Chaplain Nancy Smith. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CanCare of Houston, 9575 Katy Freeway, 428, Houston, Texas 77024.
