Dorothy Marie Pavlock

In loving memory of our dear clasmate -

Dorothy Marie Pavlock Smith, 64, of Houston and Plantersville, died Sunday evening surrounded by her loving children and mother, June 26, 2011, at her home in Houston. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Home. A parish rosary and vigil service will follow at 7:00 pm with Deacon Walter Busa as the presider.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am Thursday, June 30, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church (www.smsj.org)11323 CR 304 in Stoneham, with Rev. Edward C. Kucera, Jr. as the celebrant. The rite of committal will follow in St. Joseph Church Cemetery.

Dorothy was born July 12, 1946 in Houston to Sylvester Pete and Lillie Straka Pavlock. A life long resident of Houston, she graduated from Waltrip High School in 1964. A homemaker and loving mother, not only to her three children, but to all kids, she enjoyed genealogy, all kinds of crafts and traveling. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Alvin Mikus, Robert Kimich, Robert Kimich, Jr., Glenn Capps, Johnathan Mikus and Andrew Rymer.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her father, a brother, Sylvester Pete Pavlock, Jr., husband Charles Ray Smith and grandchild, Kira Kimich.

Survivors include her mother, Lillie Pavlock of Plantersville, daughters,
Patricia Ann Kimich and husband Robert and Christina Marie Capps and husband Glenn, all of Plantersville and a son, Darrell Ray Smith and wife Ann of Cypress; grandchildren, Robert Kimich, Jr. and girlfriend, Hanna Cook, Raven Kimich, Hope Capps and Andrew Rymer, along with numerous other relatives and a great number of friends.
