Frank(ie) asked me out on my first date.  In the 7th grade, after lots of teen-age tell-him-I-said and did-he-say-he-likes-me?  he invited me to a school sock hop at Black.  I thought he was great and then.........my mother wouldn't let me go.  Too young, she says.  But I will never forget the thrill of being asked out that first time.
