I've done a lot of things but ended up working at Montgomery County Sheriff's Departm10ent for 23 years. I retired 10 years ago. Now I teach at The Remnant Academy, a Christian school in La Grange, Tx. I married a wonderful woman 4 years ago and we love to travel and stay active in church.
Wow, I really enjoyed high school. I actually graduated in 1965 but knew a lot of the old timers from '64! I think being a cheerleader was the most fun but nowadays, lots of folks find it hard to imagine. I was a skinny kid in HS but after I got on the SWAT team at the Sheriff's Office and started working out, I'm a stout 6'2", 250lbs. Most folks ask me if I'm a wrestler! I do remember one time during a football game I was running sideways down the side lines cheering on the runner from Waltrip who was running full out toward the goal line. The football coach did talk to be later about it. He thought it was funny and wondered why I hadn't tried out. I told him 'cuz those guys were too BIG! And, you all were!
