Barbara was also a mid termer and she and I and a number of other classmates went all of the way through from Oak Forest Elem to Black to Waltrip. She and I were often paired as dancing partners in our annual Mayfete dance performances at Oak Forest. I sure am glad that cameras were not as prevalent then as they are now, because a lot of our “costumes” back then seem to me to have been kind of weird! Barbara was pretty quiet and shy, and was a very sweet and good person.
Rest In Peace dear Barbara!
