Michael and my daughter Robin went to school together - preK, kindergarten and high school. They graduated Class of 99 from Westbury. Carolyn was divorced from George Canahuati and had remarried and was working in real estate when I last heard from her in the mid '90's. Robin and Michael lost touch after graduation and I knew nothing of Carolyn's illness until today when Robin sent me a blog about Michael and his Insure the Cure venture. Knowing how much Carolyn loved her kids, I know she is beaming with pride at Michael's accomplishments.
