10/3/14 - His sister, Dorothy Fowler '65 Montgomery, notified Jim Taylor that he passed away about 2 weeks ago.

A note from Jim's sister, Dorothy Fowler '65 Montgomergy, in response to my email to her -----

Thank you, Jackie. I will pass this on to his widow, Loren.  Since Jim and Loren had no children, they decided long ago to be cremated and not have a funeral or memorial service.  In 2011, Jim had quadruple bypass surgery and a heart valve replacement.  In 2013, he developed COPD and progressively got worse this past year.
