LINDA LEE MILLER LAROSE, 60, a retired senior specialist of Shell Global Solutions, died Tuesday, June 26th at Select Specialty Hospital Medical Center in Houston. Ms. LaRose was born in Houston, Texas and lived in League City for the past five years. In her career, she contributed to the specifications for the control of corrosion issued by NACE International and ASTM International. She was also an active member of the eGullet Society for Culinary Arts & Letters. Daughter of the late Edward Lee Miller and Ruth Louise Baum Miller. Survivors include her daughter, Leslie Lee LaRose of Alexandria, Virginia; a son, Matthew William LaRose of Chicago, Illinois; a sister, Edwina Louise Miller Bowen Duncan of Houston; many friends and colleagues. Memorial ceremony private. Donations will be accepted in her memory at The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society."
