I have some bad news to report.  I lost my best friend John Dean this week end. He passed away Sept. 28, 2008 at about 130pm.   He was a fellow classmate too.

Johnny and I were best friends for the last 50 years. He is survived by his wife Sue and his children Kelly ( with 4 children), his son John living in Round Rock,Texas and his daughter Katie living in College Station.  Johnny was a Vietnam Vet wounded twice, did two one year tours there.

After getting out of the service he married Sue (a native of New York state). They moved back to Houston and then to Spring.  Johnny was working for Central Freight Lines Driving a Truck. He moved to Huntsville and started college.  After receiving his Degree he became a professor at Lee College and taught in the Texas Prision system.  He continued school and got his Masters at Sam Houston. He retired from teaching about a month ago. Johnny has been my best friend and it is a real loss for me. I will always have him on my mind.
